Welcome to Rhonda’s Natural Soap!
I’m Rhonda and I wanted to tell you how my adventures in soap-making began. I grew up in San Diego with an Irish Mama and She LOVED SOAP! In fact, my whole family loved soap, our soap of choice- Dove! We also loved handmade soap and we would go to co-ops and buy dozens of handmade soap. We loved all of the colors, scents, and shapes. We loved all of the soap accessories: washcloths, loofahs, sponges, and even dish soap holders. My grandmother made soap, which is where the tradition began. In 2020, I decided to make my first batch of soap. I went to a local soap shop in San Diego and bought a kit. I read lots of blogs, and watch oodles of youtube videos and the instructions that came with them. I followed the instructions carefully, and in nine hours, I had made FIVE pounds of soap! Today, I still make five-pound batches, but with precision. I still laugh today, that my first batch was five pounds, talk about jumping head-first into the deep end!

I love the activated charcoal and teal oil soap. I have adult acne and the oily skin that goes along with it. For several months now, I’ve used the soap on my face and like how it makes my skin feel. It does not over-dry the skin like many soaps for acne or oily skin do. It always rinses clean. Shucks, I’ve even taken a shower with it a few times.
